Dr Kuo is a senior rheumatologist who holds multiple prestigious positions in the medical field. He is the director of the center for artificial intelligence in Medicine.
Dr Kuo obtained his MD and Master’s degree from Chang Gung University and his PhD from the University of Nottingham, UK. His research interests include the epidemiology of rheumatic diseases, genetic epidemiology of common complex diseases, pharmacoepidemiology, and medical artificial intelligence.
He has published numerous papers on gout, covering various aspects such as epidemiology, treatment, prognosis, comorbidities, genetics, and risk factors.
Dr Kuo has also developed new models to assess drug-drug interactions using routinely collected data.

In MTI, he oversaw EDB and Economic Strategies Committee (chaired by President Tharman). In MOF, he shaped Singapore’s long-term fiscal sustainability.

Prof Dai’s research centers on the interdisciplinary study of optics, informatics, neuroscience, and cognitive sciences, with hundreds of journal papers published.
In the past decades, he has invented a series of mesoscale imaging systems and data analysis methods, facilitating simultaneous multi-scale observation of biological dynamics spanning from organelles, cells, tissue, and organs in different pathological or physiological states.
His efforts opened a new horizon for the study of large-scale intercellular interactions, paving the way from brain sciences to artificial intelligence.
Recently, he has been working on system neuroscience, artificial intelligence, computational imaging, large-scale data analysis methods, and neuromorphic optoelectronic devices.

To date, Daniel has published >250 peer reviewed publications in high-impact journals, such as JAMA, NEJM, Lancet, Nature Medicine, and serves in American Academy of Ophthalmology, STARD-AI, QUADAS-AI and DECIDE-AI as an executive committee.
In 2022 and 2023, Daniel was ranked the Top 100 Ophthalmologists Power list by the Ophthalmologists, and ranked Top 100 clinical research (0.001%) in the World’s Top 2% Scientists by the Stanford University.

He led a regional sales, marketing, and professional services team responsible for GE’s suite of clinical workflow solutions deployed in some of Asia’s premier hospitals.

Dr Tan was involved in the development and implementation of a National diabetic retinopathy telemedicine screening program in Singapore where AI was developed DR and translated into clinical use.
His main research interest is diabetic eye disease and the eye as a window to diabetic complications. He has developed telemedicine virtual imaging clinics, as well as various digital solutions to improving patient care.

He is a co-founder of Mona LisaTM transperineal prostate biopsy device (Biobot Surgicals Pte Ltd) which provides accurate diagnosis of prostate cancer and used in many Singapore hospitals, Germany, Australia and China. After his Singapore-Stanford Biodesign fellowship, he contributes to the healthcare innovation ecosystem through nurturing more clinician innovators through the clinician-innovator award under NMRC and linking external companies into the healthcare system via the Alice Lee innovation center of excellence (ALICE).

Dr Jasmine Ong’s research interests include pharmacokinetics / pharmacodynamics of adult critically ill patients, as well as artificial intelligence and health technology innovation.
Dr Jasmine leads the SGH pharmacy in its AI innovation efforts and is appointed as an EXCO member in the SingHealth AI Office. She is also an appointed adjunct faculty with Duke-NUS Medical School.
As a strong advocate in clinical innovation research, Dr Jasmine is the first pharmacist in Singapore to be awarded the NMRC Clinician Innovator Award and the AI Singapore Technology Challenge as the lead Medical Principal Investigator.
She was most recently awarded the US-ASEAN Fulbright Visiting Scholarship for FY23/24.

He is an award-winning ethicist and moral philosopher trained in neuroscience, medicine, and philosophy, going on to hold the Uehiro Chair in Practical Ethics (2002) at the University of Oxford, where he founded the Oxford Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics in 2003, before moving to NUS in 2022.

Dean Coffman joined Duke-NUS in 2010 as Founding Director of the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Disorders SRP and was appointed Dean on July 2015. He is currently a member of the SingHealth Board of Directors. Dean Coffman’s research interests include the renin-angiotensin and prostanoid systems, and diabetic nephropathy.
An international leader in the field of nephrology, he is a Past-President of the American Society of Nephrology and is also a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation and the Association of American Physicians.
Dean Coffman was conferred the 2014 Excellence Award for Hypertension Research from the American Heart Association Council.

After he finished his PhD at Chang Gung University, he completed his fellowship and Post-Doctorate Research with Dr. Michael Trese at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan, USA, with his research focus in the field of pediatric retina.

She is Senior Principal Scientist at A*STAR’s Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC), and Programme Director leading the Centre for Advanced Technologies in Online Safety (CATOS), which hosts Singapore’s national effort to address online falsehood and harms through technological solutions.

Dr Liu completed his PhD at Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology, where he worked on predictive risk modeling using biomedical signals, medical text, and billing codes. He has previously also worked on predictive modeling for nucleic acid sequences and protein structures.

Associate Professor Zhong is heading cardiovascular engineering and technologies theme and technical lead of cardiovascular system AI core at NHRIS. His research interests include cardiovascular imaging, mechanics and physiology, multiscale computational modelling, artificial intelligence, and development of novel technology towards applications in clinical research.
Professor Zhong is leading clinical studies (e.g. INITIATE, ECONOMY, APOLLO) in many studies including coronary artery disease, congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension and cardiomyopathies.
He has published more than 180 peer reviewed publications; was invited for more than 50 lectures; and been awarded more than 12 million SGD as PI in research grant funding from NMRC, BMRC, NRF and A*STAR.
